Transform Your Hot Tub into a Spooky Addition to Your Party

Leaves are falling and the spookiest time of year is approaching. As you consider ways to transform your look with your costume, maybe you should also think of ways to transform your hot tub. You can make this year’s Halloween party your best ever when you use your hot tub as part of the decor. We’ll help take your party to the next level and show you how to make a spooky haunted hot tub.

Hot Tub Lighting

When you think of a spooky setting, lighting always plays a big part. The first step to creating your haunted hot tub is to get the lighting just right. You can take this in several fun directions, so be sure to go with the style that’s best for your guests.

If your guests are a bit younger, you can turn your hot tub into a cauldron with the right lighting. Or turn your LED lights green or purple to give the appearance of a witch’s brew. You can also hang a sign above it that says, “Witch’s brew: humans needed”. To really set the stage display some extra witch’s hats nearby or a broom leaning up against it.

For more mature guests, take it up a notch and make the lights in your hot tub red. Nearby, add some plastic skeletons, eyeballs, and other items to enhance the look. Top it off by hanging a sign that says, “Enter at your own risk”.

Spooky Sights and Sounds

When you try to create a certain mood or environment, it’s best to use as many senses as possible. Help set the tone with creepy sights and sounds coming from your hot tub. Use your Hot Spring®  Sound System with Bluetooth®  Wireless System to add to the mood with some spooky sounds. You can track down eerie ghost sounds to make it really creepy. Or, you can find playlists with fun Halloween songs that will entertain guests as they enjoy your spooky hot tub.

Increase the spook factor by playing Halloween movie classics on your Hot Spring®  22″ High-Definition Wireless Monitor. Whether the movies are funny, scary, or just plain cheesy, you and your guests are sure to have a blast.

Creepy Decor

As you create your spooky haunted hot tub, don’t forget that the devil is in the details. Your entire outdoor space can get in on the haunted atmosphere with some simple additions. Create a path to the hot tub that is lined with tombstones or jack-o-lanterns. You can even make ghostly luminaries by using white paper bags with a ghost face drawn on them. Add a fog machine to give your patio or outdoor space the feel of a haunted graveyard.
