Swim Spa Full-Body Workout Plan

Full-Body Workout Plan: Warm-Up

The warm-up is important to be sure your body and muscles are ready to be pushed and worked in various ways. This will prevent injuries. You have a few options available to you when warming up. At IHT, we enjoy cardio to get our blood pumping.

You have the option to swim in your Endless Pools® Swim Spa, ride your underwater exercise bike, or walk/jog on your underwater treadmill to get warmed up. You could follow the same routine to warm up or mix it up each time. There is even an app to help you reach your workout goals.

Arm Exercises

While swimming a way to achieve an arm workout in your Endless Pools® Swim Spa, you could also use the row bar kit to transform your swim spa into a row machine. If rowing isn’t your thing, then you could also use the resistance bands or water weights to change up your workout routine in the swim spa.  Using these items, you could even utilize any workout you have loved at the gym, in your pool!

Leg Exercises

While swimming, walking on the treadmill, or using the aqua bike would all guarantee you an awesome leg workout, you can target them specifically in your swim spa, as well. There are specific videos of different exercises like squats and leg sweeps available on the Endless Pools® Swim Spa YouTube site. This will allow for minimal impact on your joints. You could also continue using resistance bands to enhance your leg workout.

Core Strength Exercises

While doing all of the above exercises will utilize your core in a big way, you can also do specific exercises for it as well in your pool. Using the bars along the sides of your Endless Pools® Swim Spa, you can do things like bicycles and leg raises in a low-impact environment. When all else fails, you can tether yourself to swim. This will use all of those wonderful ab muscles.

Full-Body Workout Plan: Hydrotherapy Cool Down

After all of this hard work in your Endless Pools® Swim Spa, you will want to cool down and recover with a nice hydrotherapy spa soak. This will allow your muscles to relax and unwind, making the most out of your swim spa.

A swim spa provides the ultimate full-body workout plan. Acting as multiple machines in one as well as offering a spa-like experience, you can’t go wrong. If you are still unsure come in for a test swim at IHT! We’re more than happy to help you find the best swim spa for you.
